The wizard enables you to recalculate production costs based on current values. It helps you to eliminate cost inconsistencies by recalculating the production cost of all the items managed by batch or serial at production. These items could be sent to production before their final cost is calculated. The wizard allows you to run simulation of cost changes and provides valuable recommendations. Steps involved in running the wizard are: -
Step 1: - The first step is to specify whether you want to run Production Cost Recalculation Simulation, Start Production Cost Recalculation Run, or Load Saved Production Cost Recalculation Run.
Step 2: - In this step you specify the parameters to run the wizard. The parameters that you select will determine the range of receipts from production to which the Production Cost Recalculation Wizard will be applied.
Step 3: - This is the part where the user will be able to view the recommendations the wizard puts forth. You can then select the document in which the production cost needs to be adjusted.
Step 4: - This is the step where you view and reevaluate all the documents and its connected materials to show its actual production cost.
Step 5: - This is the final step where you can view the summary of the changes made in the production cost by the wizard.
