Billing Document Generation Wizard

The Billing Document Generation Wizard collects open documents and billable items connected to your project for invoicing through A/R Invoices or Delivery documents. The user has the option to choose the source that the wizard targets for invoicing. Let us discuss how the wizard works in detail. 



There are two ways to open this wizard. The first way to open this window is to select the wizard directly from the Project Management Module and the second way is to right-click on the “projects” window and select the wizard. By selecting the wizard directly from the “projects” window the user will be able to pre-populate the wizard with the selected stage information, which will in turn assign the created documents to the same stage.



Once you have opened the wizard  these are the steps to be followed: - 


  • Step 1: - Specify what type of document you want to generate and what sources to use. In order to use different sources the wizard may need to be run multiple times.

  • Step 2: - Confirm which documents you want to place on the target document by using the Confirmed checkbox. Make sure that the selected items exist for a document to be confirmed.



After completing the above mentioned steps, you will have generated the necessary billing documents as per you selection.
