We hear the
word modules in almost every turn while using SAP Business One and some of us still
lack an overall idea of what modules are and how many modules in total are
available in SAP Business One. In this blog, it is my objective to list out all
the modules that are available in SAP Business One and give a brief intro on
them. To do so I have grouped all the modules in to Six different categories
and the entire content will be split into three blogs.
· Administration:-
The
administration module falls under this category. This module contains all the
basic system settings required to implement SAP Business one successfully. Administration
module can be simply described as control centre of SAP Business One and all
the important information on how to run the system is defined in here.
· CRM:-
CRM consists
of Opportunities & Services modules.
1. Opportunities
module serves as a helping hand to you sales employees with their sales opportunities
in turn enabling you to analyse your sales information. In short, opportunities
module helps us in tracking our Leads and converting them into customers.
2. Services
module enables the interaction between service representatives and customers. It
helps maintain all the details regarding service contracts, serial numbers,
service history in a single form called Equipment Card and this form is what
the service representatives in your company use reference while they attend
service calls.
you can
manage, analyse, and monitor your production capacity.
· Human Resources:-
This
category only contains the Human Resources module. This module’s primary
purpose is to maintain information on company employees and provide some basic
functions like staff management capabilities, including employee details,
contact information, and absence reports.
